My current rates are as follows:
Initial Intake Session: $150
50 minute therapy sessions: $140
Insurance
I do accept the following insurance plans:
- Highmark/Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Independence Blue Cross
Please note, if you intend to use your insurance you are responsible for determining your out of pocket costs such as deductibles and co-pays.
To determine if you have mental health coverage through your insurance carrier, the first thing you should do is call them. Check your coverage carefully and make sure you understand their answers. Some helpful questions you can ask them:
- What are my mental health benefits?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- How many therapy sessions does my plan cover?
- How much does my insurance pay for an out-of-network provider?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
If your insurance is not listed above but offers out-of-network reimbursement, I am happy to provide you with a monthly superbill to submit for reimbursement. Check with your insurance to see whether this is applicable to your plan.
For all clients:
I require a current credit card to be kept on file to hold any appointments including the intake session. Not having a current card on file may result in your session being cancelled. Payment is due at the time of session and processed via credit, debit, or FSA/HSA cards. I cannot accept cash, checks, or payment applications at this time.
Cancellations require 24 hours notice. If you cancel with less than 24 hours before the session, you will be charged the full session fee of $140. Please let me know if you cannot attend a session. This allows me to offer the time to other clients.
